    First time here...
Luv this place...why haven't I been here before...we went here for a family re-pass...our group of about 60 was nestled in the back...food and drinks where flowing...due to  the occasion we all had a few laughs and celebrated the life of our loved one...we set up some turntables and a microphone and had a really nice time...
Thankx to Val's and everyone that made our difficult time a little more pleasant

This is an awesome restaurant if you're in the mood for a great steak, seafood or pasta! They have all of those and more on the menu.

Came here over the weekend because I was having dinner with my Aunt and Uncle. Val's is my uncle's favorite restaurant and he has been coming here for about 10+ years. He recommended the veal scallopini and he was not wrong, it was incredible!

The sides they also offer with their entrees are great. You get your choice of butter pasta with garlic, baked potato, mashed potatoes or salad. Additionally, they have an excellent Robert Mondavi Private Selection Cabernet that went smoothly with our meal!

To top it all of I got the tiramisu for dessert and that was fantastic as well. They give bread and saltine crackers as well before your meal even comes out!

I have a soft spot for Val's because they're a local staple.  I happen to like the food here, particularly their steaks.  Karaoke nights are super fun too!

But my love for Val's is that I can count on being able to watch sports there!  They always play the games and even during the NBA Playoffs, I can find a seat and just cheer with the locals.

Sure it's a but divey and old fashioned, but that's what I like about the place.  Sue me.

Went here in the afternoon alone to try it out for lunch around 2:30pm-ish yesterday. First thing I noticed was the dim environment of the right side of the dining area. When I walked in however, the environment with seeing the open bar, the photos around the wall, the televisions, and the music, and it looked all good. I ordered the breaded veal cutlet with gravy sauce, which also came with mashed potatoes and some zucchini, along with a side of salad, and they were all good! The veal did taste a little salty, but the veal itself was very flavorful, even without the gravy. With the gravy, it was an excellent combo. I was confused at the end of why they probably didn't allow patrons normally to not take the complimentary saltine crackers to-go; I was full from the meal, having not finished everything and the salad, and there was about 10 saltine crackers left. (The waitress was nice enough to not say anything and let me take them though)

First thing that came to mind the moment my penne pasta with "grilled" chicken came out was Gordon Ramsay's 24 hours to hell and back. The pasta just did not look appetizing. The sauce was foul tasting. The chicken did not look fresh and definitely was not grilled. I get the vibe it's been soaking in some sort of liquid for a very very very long time. You can see the skin has absorbed 2-3x it's size. Shared the prime rib which, at first glance, looked well cooked until it was cut to the middle. Looked like a raw piece of meat (supposed to be medium rare). Also, I would not recommend the $10 upgrade to the "complete dinner" which consist of salad, soup, and dessert, even though the salad and bread was the only acceptable thing I had. Not worth it. The bread pudding dessert felt microwaved. On top of all that, our server never checked up on us after taking our order.

I feel bad for sharing this as I did received a very friendly goodbye from the nice gentlemen by the door (assuming it's the owner or manager, etc). All in all, this was my honest and horrific experience.
